Hello again from your friendly local BMW service department. As you know, we are now rolling into the spring season, and enjoying the great spring weather. However, with all the snow and rain Albuquerque has seen in the last several years, the roads have seen better days. The cold and wet weather have caused rapid degradation to the road surfaces with large potholes and rough pavement. Low profile wheels and tires are very susceptible to damage by these types of road hazards. In addition, the suspension takes a beating and the alignment can be knocked out of adjustment. Typical warning signs might include vibrations when driving, the steering wheel off center, unusual / uneven tire wear, or clunks and rattles from under the car while driving over rough or uneven terrain. Vehicle manufacturers all recommend checking your alignment once every year or 15,000 miles, whichever comes first. 
 
We would like to extend to anyone experiencing any of these problems, or those who just want peace of mind, a complimentary inspection of your entire vehicle, with an emphasis on the suspension. We will check wheels, tires, all suspension components and advise you on the wheel alignment and balance.

Keep in mind that almost all BMWs manufactured after 1999 require a steering wheel calibration during the alignment process that can only be performed with a BMW GT-1 machine. We are the only shop in town that can properly align these BMWs, and many of the local body shops and insurance companies rely on us for this function. We are also one of only a handful of shops in town that have the latest Road Force balancing equipment to ensure the most accurate balance possible.
